In a world where the majority of students have access to a device connected to the internet, whether it's an iPod, tablet, smart phone or computer, educating your child on how to be Internet smart is critical. As technology moves forward and becomes more advanced, your child will become more exposed to the World Wide Web. Unfortunately, there are people out there on the Internet, who thrive on bullying others, via devices and the Internet. The aim of this term’s unit, and the initial 3 lessons, is to help educate and make your child aware of what cyber bullying is, what to do if they experience or witness it, how to deal with it and who to talk to about it.
